SchalkesOpa

Robert Schmalohr

Robert Schmalohr (SchalkesOpa) is a creative world-builder who creates unique transmedia projects as an author and musician.

His youth novel series about the character Max (beginning with "Max and the Dream of Football") is a gripping coming-of-age saga. With unflinching honesty, it tells of the strains of growing up, the search for sexual identity, and coping with bullying and trauma. Fiction merges with reality: the novel character Max exists as the musician MAXR in the real world, whose songs readers can actually hear.

In parallel, Schmalohr addresses trainers and parents in children's football with his non-fiction series "Kleine Kinder Grosse Traeume". The practice-oriented guides are based on a pedagogical philosophy where relationships, attitude, and the joy of playing take center stage.

For all his books, SchalkesOpa composes and produces his own albums, which serve as soundtracks to the stories. His works are authentic narratives that inspire courage and connect generations. Glück auf!
