Got a manuscript or music?
A real person reads and listens to every submission. We are a small, independent publisher with our own label near Hamburg, Germany, looking for stories and songs that last.
What we publish
We are open to ideas. Tell us what you have written.
If it is not a fit, we decline kindly but without a detailed explanation. As a small publisher, we simply do not have the time.
What we need from you
- A few sentences in the form: what is it about, who is it for, what makes your book special?
- A synopsis of 1 to 2 pages: the whole plot including the ending, the main characters, the target audience. For non-fiction, a table of contents with a short description of each chapter.
- A sample: the first 20 to 50 pages in one piece, not from the middle. Please do not send the full manuscript, we will ask for it if we like it.
- A few lines about yourself and your previous publications, if any.
What happens next
- Digital only. Please do not send anything by mail. We cannot return printouts, CDs or USB sticks.
- We will get back to you within 8 to 12 weeks. If you have not heard from us by then, it was not the right fit.
- Free for you. A reputable publisher does not charge its authors. Neither do we: no fees, no subsidies, no packages.
- Your rights stay with you. By submitting, you only allow us to read and listen to your material.
- Please submit only once. You may contact other publishers or labels at the same time. Just let us know if you sign elsewhere.
